As part of our services across Oxfordshire, we are implementing Primary Care Mental Health hubs to support GP practices with Mental Health assessment and support for patients in their communities.
We have created 4 new and exciting posts, all within each of the three City & NE Primary Care Mental Health Teams (PCMHTs) including the Keystone MH & Wellbeing Hub BBL & East Oxford where we have developed an exciting partnership with the Frank Bruno Foundation. 3 further posts will be within the PCMHTs covering City North & North East and City Central.
We are working to identify alternative bases for these teams and interim locations are most likely to be between Raglan House Cowley, Blackbird Leys and the Summertown and Bicester areas dependent on the team and area covered. Additional travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for 4 primary care Mental Health Clinicians who are experienced in delivering evidence-based interventions in a community setting, with a passion for partnership approaches to care for adults living with serious mental illness.
These roles need people who are innovative and want to help achieve our vision for cross-sector integrated pathways, removing existing barriers, to deliver better access to dedicated mental health support in local, non-stigmatised community settings.
