Job summary
The post holder will ensure high quality nursing care is delivered in Endoscopy within the University Hospitals of Northamptonshire. Based at Northampton General Hospital
The post holder will provide communication and leadership to both nursing and the multi-disciplinary team providing day-to-day line management of the team. Act as an expert practitioner maintaining multi-disciplinary operational policies, training packages and competencies for staff, teaching and supervision of all staff grades within the unit.
The post holder will have ongoing responsibilities for the operational effectiveness of their designated clinical area, being present in their clinical area., in conjunction with the Endoscopy Group Lead for UHN.
The post holder will have specialist knowledge of Endoscopy acquired to run a safe clinical area.
The post holder will have a balance of practice and management within Endoscopy day to day
