To assist in the provision of an efficient and effective Administration/Reception/appointment service with the Radiology Department.

Job responsibilities
To ensure reception desk is always covered and all patients are booked into thedepartment in a professional, helpful and polite manner.2. To be able to cover cross-site at multiple locations Kettering General Hospital, NenePark and Isebrook Hospital.3. To receive telephone calls from patients and outside agencies, and to deal with these callsand take appropriate action in professional, helpful, and polite manner.4. Book appointments ensuring the correct appointment letter and associated patientinformation leaflets are sent out in a timely manner.5. To make appointments via outbound calls to fill un-utilised appointment slots.6. Process paperwork for patients that fail to attend for their appointment, make thenecessary changes on CRIS, and inform referring clinician.7. To receive written requests for Radiology appointments via internal tertiary referrals andOrder Comms. To date stamp, input referrals onto the CRIS system and prioritise if required.8. To deal with amendments/cancellations, re-scheduling of Radiology appointments.9. Monitor the daily running of the appointment lists.10.To ensure that all mail is accurately dispatched for collection daily, Monday to Friday.11.To participate in departmental induction/training for new staff
