Job summary
Clifford ward is recruiting a full time 36 hours per week and part time a ward clerk 24 hours per week to work in their busy fast paced Assessment unit.
Hours will be between 07.00-19.00 across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis including Bank Holidays and Weekend working.
You will need to be a team player, but have the confidence to work on your own initiative, have a flexible approach to tasks in a busy changing environment, demonstrate competence in using IT systems, have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as you will be the front line for the patient and relatives.
Main duties of the job
To maintain the patient records/notes using our Careflow system.
Ensure patients demographics are correct and up to date.
Complete patient ward notes and update administration section to support patient information throughout the trust.
To use effective communication skills to answer the telephone according to the agreed standard and give theappropriate informationasrequired.
To photocopy/scan documents asrequired.
Toensure patient confidentiality at all timesin line with the Trust policy.
Toassistin the induction and development of others bydemonstratingown duties.
