Job summary
As a Finance Analyst the post holder will be pivotal in supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Business Partner in month end reporting, analysis and discussing monthly reports with cost centre managers. This role will help non-finance managers understand their role as a budget holder and communication with this staff group is key. Experience in understanding and analysing finance data will be key along with effectively communicating budget holder feedback which will support with forecasting.
There may be requirement to work across both UHN sites.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a permanent experienced Finance Analyst to assist with all aspects of financial management information collation within the finance department. You will be required to be an experienced user of excel with strong analytical skills. Previous experience of financial management would also be an advantage.
The post holder will be expected to assist the Finance Manager and Business Partner to provide robust monthly budgetary reporting, variance analysis and regular provision of forecasts, enabling an effective financial management service to be provided to the budget holders and managers within the Trust. Good interpersonal and communication, especially verbal skills, are essential with an ability to work as part of a team.
