Job summary
Lamport ward are looking for an individual with strong administrative and organizational skills to provide comprehensive administrative support to our leadership Team.
The post holder must be able to communicate sensitively and effectively with a wide range of clinical and nursing colleagues whilst working in a busy environment.
This is a varied and interesting role; the post holder will need to be self-motivated and demonstrate excellent time management and work across both areas and keep within deadlines.
Hours to be worked core business hours Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
- Provide administrative support to our both leadership teams using a high level of initiative, knowledge, tact, diplomacy and effective communication.
- Have the ability to interact appropriately and effectively with all levels of management and staff, ensuring a high level of confidentiality is maintained.
- Competent in the use of computers with particular emphasis on Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet and Outlook.
- Planning, organization and prioritizing workload and being able to work in a busy changing environment and work to deadlines.
- Working independently as well as part of a team.
- Maintain high quality standards by ensuring that the data entered onto Trust systems is accurate, complete and up to date.
- Comply with the principles of risk management including health and safety legislation, promoting high standards and acting immediately on hazards or unsafe practices in conjunction with other staff.
