Health Care Assistant - Cranford Ward

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Assistants to join the Cranford team in Kettering General Hospital.

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our team.

Main duties of the job

The shift pattern will be 07:00 - 19:30 and 19:00-07:30 and you will be expected to rotate and work weekends

Your key roles & responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Registered Nurse in the delivery of high quality and compassionate patient centred care.
Being actively involved in ensuring theenvironment and equipment is clean, maintained, tidy and well stocked and undertake daily housekeeping roles in line with the service.
To contribute to the effective running of the department by concentrating on tasks that directly support theneeds of the patient and assists their journey, prioritising on patients as required.
To work under the supervision of a registered healthcare practitioner at all times, working within the parameters of their competence, communicating and documenting appropriate and relevant information to other members of the multidisciplinary team in a professional timely manner

This position requires NVQ Level 2 in a Health and Social Care and previous Healthcare experience in a hospital.
