We're looking for part leader, part super analyst to join us in Health Intelligence and lead the team in providing the high quality insight we know will underpin the solutions needed.
We have recently implemented a new single data warehouse across UHN and are ready to capitalise on the potential that gives us as a team. You will lead on embracing new tools and technology within our team to simplify our routine demands and push the offering far beyond the traditional.
You will also lead on our aims to effectively support our stakeholders across UHN by developing close working relationships with teams across the organisation, making data instantly accessible and moving the conversation to what the data tells us.
We are predominantly a remote team so fully support hybrid and flexible working. We do however have team meetings once a month which are hosted on site depending on their content and there may be other times where an on-site presence is required to support stakeholders, particularly in a senior leadership role.
Main duties of the job
The Insights & Analytics Manager is responsible for leading the insights and partnerships section of the Health Intelligence team across UHN.
As the leading expert in analytics within Health Intelligence, the post holder will lead the team across the following key areas:
- High quality analysis & insight which improves the work of clinical and operational teams
- Dashboard development, enhancing the core data available to users in a centralised platform
- Performance & assurance data provision which is consistent throughout the organisation
- Predictive modelling and planning
- Stakeholder management & requirements prioritisation
- Statutory & ad-hoc reporting including all national reporting
The post holder will be expected to ensure modern tooling and techniques are in use across the team and consistently horizon scan for future innovations that can be utilised to enhance the quality of service provided.
In addition, the post holder will be integral to creating confidence in the data itself whilst building confidence within our stakeholders to use data, analysis and tooling effectively.
This is a primary stakeholder engagement role and the post holder will act as a member of the Health Intelligence Senior Management Team. They will have responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with senior stakeholders across UHN and will require strong experience of stakeholder management and analytics delivery in support of clinical and operational performance improvements.
