Interviews for this position will require face-to-face attendance at an Assessment Centre on the15th February 2025. We are not able to accomodate requests for alternative dates or remote interviews.

We are looking for highly motivated nurses, newly qualified or who have 6 months post registration experience in an acute setting or previous experience working within an Emergency Department setting and wish to further develop their clinical and leadership skills.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview assessment center in person. There is no option for this to be virtual and this will take place on a Saturday.
Main duties of the job
The role of the nurse/midwife is to provide a holistic, high quality, patient focused,comprehensive, efficient and safe service for the patients cared for at Kettering GeneralHospital, acting with responsibility, accountability and integrity; reporting adverse events andpoor practice to the person in charge. The nurse/midwife would be expected to effectively andresponsibly use resources and engage in change and service improvements.Standards of practice at Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (KGH) are alignedto the standards set out by the Nursing & Midwifery (NMC) Code: Standards of conduct,performance and ethics for nurses and midwifes (2008). Standards of practice and care, atKGH, also encompass the Chief Nursing Officer's 6 C's campaign and concentrate thenursing agenda on Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, andCommitment.The post holder may be required to rotate through other wards and departments as requiredto support Trust business and patient care.The post holder will act at all times in accordance with the NMC code and local standards ofcare and policies.
