That's why we are committed to recruiting an enthusiastic, adaptable, Divisional Governance and Improvement Manager to the Governance Team to work in the Surgery Division. This is a varied role, working to the identify and assess risks, support the division and trust to learn from incidents, provide improvement and assurance on integrated governance in support of the Trust's strategy.
This role does not require a registration (eg. Nurse, Midwife). However, if you have a registration, we will support you to maintain it. If you have a visa, please check the restrictions on the visa before applying.
Knowledge of the Surgery division is desirable but if you do not have this a passion to learn is essential.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible fir supporting and reporting into Divisional Governance meetings ensuring they are effective in improving quality and safety.
To produce effective governance reports for various committees and groups for assurance on management of quality and safety within the relevant divisions.
Support relevant divisions and the Patient Safety team with daily review of all incidents.
Support relevant services in evidencing embedding learning actions from outcomes within agreed timescales.
Responsible for supporting the relevant services on the continual update and assessment of the division's risk registers ensuring risk assessments are in place and integral to services.
