Main duties of the job
Based within a busy ward environment, you will be working alongside clinical staff assisting them with their admin duties, including patient discharge letters which are completed when patients are deemed medically fit for discharge. This is a pivotal role embedded within the ward areas and allows our clinicians to spend more time with their patients. Previous administrative experience and a proactive approach to a rapidly changing service are vital as we enter the challenging, but exciting time of digitisation within the Trust.
The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard, have a strong administration background, and have a passion for working within a caring NHS environment. Experience of in-house systems, Medway PAS, Careflow and Patient flow would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
Full time hours are 0800-1600 Monday to Friday
