We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse to join our friendly Urology team .This is a newly funded post which has given us opportunity to expand our specialist nursing team .
You will be working in a newly refurbished unit with lots of opportunities to further develop your nursing skills.
As a Flexible cystoscopy nurse you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the dedicated nurse led service for patients referred with visible/non visible haematuria, triaging referrals and ordering investigations as part of the haematuria one stop pathway and performing surveillance flexible cystoscopies
The post holder will develop expert knowledge and skills to undertake flexible cystoscopies following the professional guidance issued by the association of urology surgeons and British association of urology nurses. Training for flexible cystoscopies will be provided.
Ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically effective care, contribute to prioritising and utilising research, and collaborating with colleagues in
everyday practice.
The post holder will act at all times in accordance with the NMC code and local standards of care
