Job summary

The main responsibility of this role will be as a call handler/receptionist, data entry, clerical admin and to provide support on our blood test telephone appointment line within the Pathology Outpatient area. This will be a customer service role.

Main duties of the job

A vacancy has arisen for a part-time call handler/Receptionist to join our friendly Phlebotomy team based at Kettering General Hospital.

The main responsibility of this role will be to provide support on our telephone appointment line and to greet patients attending the Pathology Outpatient area and therefore a welcoming and approachable personality is essential.

Previous reception and electronic call handling systems experience will be essential for this position.

Standard hours of employment will be Monday to Friday between 08.00 and 17:00 (7.5 hours per shift). In addition the successful applicant will be required to cover periods of sickness/annual leave at potentially short notice, so flexibility with regards to hours of work will be necessary.
