Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and flexible individual to work in our Outpatient Department. Nene Park OPD currently supports clinics for a range of KGHFT based services, including vascular, surgery, neurology, urology and paediatrics.

Main duties of the job

You will be required to provide support, specialised knowledge and expertise in the day-to-day care and management of all patients coming through the department.

Duties include:

Assisting and chaperoning within clinics

Coordination of staff and clinical activity within the department

Student support

Demonstration of clinical skills to support service need

Relevant experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided. Professional development is essential within the role.

Flexibility of working hours/days is essential due to the current and ever changing demands of the clinic schedules. There is a requirement for the successful post holder to work generically across other OPD sites to meet service need.
