Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is digitally skilled to join the education team, We are looking for some one who is creative and passionate about engaging with staff to support innovation and improving staff access to learning. This post is fixed term / secondment as we support a member of our team on maternity leave, but this is an exciting post and would allow the right individual scoop to develop their skills across different medic platforms and digital resources.

Main duties of the job

  • Operate as Digital Learning Officer within The Trust to provide advice and support to the wider organisation in terms of Organisational Development and Digital Learning.
  • To support with training within the Trust for staff & managers of Digital Learning
  • To play a key role in the delivering the People Plan at KGH and NGH Group People Plan
  • Deliver Digital Learning content required for Statutory and Mandatory Training i.e. videos and eLearning
  • To prepare Learning and Education System Reports and other required OD Reports at Trust, Regional or Trust level.

To support the Learning and Education Manager with all communication for any Internal KGH Training requirements and the Digital Learning content

About us

  • Support the service area(s) and assist senior colleagues with the development and delivery of leadership and learning & development digital learning initiatives.
  • To provide advice and support to the wider organisation in terms of Digital Learning
  • Deliver Digital Learning content required for Statutory and Mandatory Training i.e. videos and eLearning
  • To be part of The Trust and support them to deliver on strategic Projects
  • Provide Digital Knowledge and expertise in order to contribute to the Health, Wellbeing and Inclusion.
  • Support the Trust and senior colleagues to contribute to the 7 pledges as part of the KGH and NGH group people plan
  • To manage Learning and Development Digital Learning campaigns, analyse and communicate training and development statistics and create a strong profile for innovative Digital Learning across the Organisation.
  • To support in running reports and analysing data and writing supportive narration. To help with continuous review of Learning & Development form an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Perspective.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 4 GCSEs Grade C or above (including English and maths)
  • Graphic design/marketing/media or equivalent

Desirable

  • Degree or equivalent in a relatable subject
  • Chartered Institute of Personnel Development Human Resource Management Level 5 (or above) or Associate level or substantial equivalent experience/working knowledge as described above.

Knowledge

Essential

  • Be able to provide Organisational Development and Digital Learning advice
  • Evidence of continuous professional development
  • Demonstrable experience of dealing with a range of administrative tasks
  • To have experience of facilitating focus groups and running campaigns
  • Experience of analysing data and presenting complex information to a broad range of diverse audiences
  • Professional networking locally/regionally
  • Exercising judgement in identifying and assessing issues involving a range of options
  • Report writing
  • Analysis and presentation of data (to generate continuous improvement)

Desirable

  • Well-developed knowledge of current and anticipated issues in the healthcare environment
