You have an honours degree in Psychology (at 2:1 or higher) and have experience working with people with mental health issues and/or learning disabilities.
It is an exciting time to join our team as we move forward with our transformation plans to best meet the mental health needs of children, young people and their families in Northumberland. We have a supportive psychological professions network, which you will be part of, as well as the wider multi-disciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
You will be supporting the psychological work of the team including delivering cognitive assessments, contributing to audit, research and training, delivering appropriate interventions and contributing to assessments and the development of formulations. You will provide input into the mental health and learning disability pathway. You will receive regular supervision and support from the psychology team as well as the clinical leads, managers and the wider team.
Northumberland is a large geographical area so you will need to be able to meet the travel requirements of the role.

- Upper 2nd class honours degree, or higher, in psychology
- Eligibility for graduate membership of British Psychological Society.
Desirable
- Further post graduate training in relevant areas of psychology, mental health practice and/or research design and analysis.
