Job summary
To provide evidence based clinical interventions to clients presenting with severe mental health difficulties whilst in acute trust.
To provide therapeutic intervention and pastoral support to patients in ED awaiting MHA assessment.
Main duties of the job
To work as an autonomous practitioner within a Multi Disciplinary Team
To keep accurate electronic records in line with NMC standards and Trusts policy and guidelines
To provide excellent levels of care and treatment, ensuring skills and knowledge is kept in date

Essential
- Registered Nursing associate on the NMC Register
- Educated to minimum level 5 Foundation Degree/Nurse Associate Apprenticeship level specific to Nursing Associate Practice
- GCSE grade A-C in Maths and English or equivalent
Knowledge and Experience

- Evidence of working with clients in mental health
- Evidence of providing therapeutic interventions (mental health)
- Demonstrate knowledge to a level consistent with the NMC Standards of Proficiency for Nursing associates
