Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our North Cumbria Children's Mental Health Crisis team for a highly motivated band 7 Specialist Nurse who will also have some team lead duties to manage and support the children's crisis service.
The post holder will ensure a high quality of care to children and their families who require this service. They will provide some operational management duties to support the service while clinically working into the service. The post holder will be support by and be part of the CYPS (children and young people) senior leadership team across North Cumbria in CNTW.
Main duties of the job
The service works with children experiencing acute mental health issues. The post holder will be required to work closely with the CYPS multi- disciplinary team, as well as with partner agencies to ensure the needs of these young people are met.
The post holder will lead on service development within the service and the wider CAMHS service.
The post holder will be the team lead for the service while offering senior clinical leadership to staff.
The service works 7 days a week 8am- 7pm so flexibility to cover the service is essential.
