We're looking for a passionate and strategic leader to join our team as an Associate Director. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead and inspire across 12 inpatient wards, spanning Monkwearmouth, Sunderland, and Hebburn. The Clinical Business Unit covers Adults, Rehab, Older People, Trust-wide PICU and Rose Lodge Inpatient Services.

We're seeking an individual who is not only a skilled operational leader but also a visionary thinker with a passion for improving patient outcomes. The successful post holder with be accountable and accountable to the Group Director
Main duties of the job
The Associate Director will be expected to display the Trust values at all times work as part of collective leadership team which will ensure that the effectiveness and safety of patient care is delivered in a patient centred manner whilst ensuring that decision making is as close to the patient as possible.
The Associated Director will be working within a federal model working to organisational requirements whilst influencing areas of direct operational managerial responsibility and clinical pathways with a proportionally shared accountability and responsibility for the quality delivery of services. They will also lead on developments across services.
