The post holder will be expected to provide care co-ordination and treatment for service users with a primary diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Avoidant Restrictive Intake Disorder. At times this will involve joint working with CTT's so that service users can also access support for other mental health conditions, as well as their eating disorder.
The post holder will be expected to contribute regularly to the MDT's, queries and referrals to the team. There will be an expectation to provide scaffolding advice and training to other professionals outside of NCAEDS who are also supporting people with eating difficulties.
The evidenced based treatments currently offered are predominately MANTRA/MANTRA informed therapy and Specialist Structured Clinical Management (SSCM) if the successful candidate has not had this training, these opportunities will be available.
