Northumberland CYPS ADHD Pathway
We are delighted to offer a unique opportunity within the Children & Young People's ADHD pathway in Northumberland.
This role will predominantly focus on the transition of young people within the ADHD clinic to adult ADHD services. We would welcome applications from non-medical prescribers although this is not essential.
The post holder must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and build up strong working relationships both in and outside of the team. They will have a good working knowledge of ADHD, the diagnostic criteria for this and both pharmacological and behavioural interventions for those with this diagnosis.
Main duties of the job
Supporting young people age 18 to transition to adult ADHD services
ADHD monitoring and review for those age 16+
Supervision of staff
Signposting to other services who support young people and families
Building excellent working relationships with other services
