Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) permanent band 3 Administration Officer to join the NHS North Cumbria Talking Therapies service to support the Carlisle and Eden Team.
The post holder will work within the NHS North Cumbria Talking Therapies service which provides evidence-based psychological therapies, as recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care excellence (NICE), for individuals with common mental health problems such as mild to moderate depression, anxiety disorders (e.g. PTSD, GAD, panic disorder, health anxiety and OCD) and mild bulimia.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be expected to provide a full range of secretarial assistance and administrative support to the NHS North Cumbria Talking Therapies service, including;
- Arranging appointments, maintaining diaries, liaison with clients and arranging meetings and agendas as required.
- Adding referrals to our information system
- File documents and reports as appropriate
- Administrative Hub duties include taking telephone calls to the service from service users, health professionals, other agencies and the public. The role includes processing incoming referrals, inputting data and monitoring service communication.
- Provide day to day support to the admin team
At present the Administrative Hub operates between 8am and 6pm.
The post-holder will be based in Carlisle but may be required to travel to venues across North Cumbria.
