An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Clinical Nurse Lead within Cleadon Ward. Cleadon is an inpatient unit based at Monkwearmouth Hospital in Sunderland. Cleadon has 18 beds providing assessment and treatment by a multi disciplinary health and social care team. .
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 or Band 6 nurses looking to develop their knowledge and skills within a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Lead role. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a supportive team that is focused on delivering high standards of nursing care.
Main duties of the job
Work as a Clinical Nurse Lead within a multi-disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.Act as an identified deputy in the absence of the Ward Manager.Facilitate and coordinate clinical practice, ensuring high standards of evidence based care and treatment.Be visible and accessible to patients, families and carers working together to ensure efficient, effective and caring services.Lead on the implementation of all performance indicators, essential standards and quality outcomesDevelop and where appropriate deliver training packages to enhance the knowledge and skills of the workforce and students.
Facilitate staff appraisals and clinical supervision and support personal development plans
