Job summary
We offer an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic, dynamic and committed registered mental health nurses to work as part of Adult Secure Services at Tyne Mental Health Ward at Northgate Hospital in Morpeth. We Have available staff nurse posts on Tyne Mental Health Ward, a 12 bedded Low Secure Ward which focuses on the recovery and rehabilitation of patients with complex mental health needs.
Secure Care Services are part of Central Locality and are developing a number of exciting new services over the coming months that enables the continued growth in preparation for the CEDAR new build at Northgate hospital in Morpeth, Northumberland.
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurses with excellent values to support adults in a busy Medium Secure Ward. You must have excellent communication skills, be reliable, punctual and work well within a team, whilst being adaptable to changing situations. You will need to be able to work calmly and efficiently within a busy and intensive environment dealing with unpredictable situations whilst remaining focused on providing a person centred approach to care and treatment.
The service has a holistic, therapeutic approach which encourages engagement and co-production. There will be robust MDT process in place enabling the pathway to be person centred, focussing on hope and recovery supporting patients to have a voice.
