Exciting opportunity for the the successful candidate: we have a Band 7 Ward manager position at Brampton War Memorial Hospital. This is a 16 bedded community hospital
The post holder will be required to work as part of the integrated team, based at Brampton Hospital; Flexible working will be required to meet the needs of the patients group and may require 24 hour working. Whilst working with other health care professionals the post holder will develop the ethos of integrated care and seamless services ensuring that patient care is delivered to the highest possible standard.

Main duties of the job
Work as a 1st level registered nurse without direct supervision ensuring the delivery of 24 hour high quality care referring only when required to the Community Hospitals Service Lead and taking responsibility for the clinical team.
This will be carried out by effectively managing and professionally leading the clinical team with and working within a multi professional environment.
Focus on the delivery of a high quality service across the whole of the unit and the post holder will be a role model and leader, utilising physical and staff resources in order to achieve this.
Be able to work towards targets such as CQUIN and Trusts own targets (LoS, throughput etc)
Assist in providing the most economical, efficient and effective level of service within the policies of the ward/ unit/ Service and within any delegated financial budget.
