INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES
The post holder will work collaboratively with colleagues within the Corporate Governance & Executive Support team to ensure continuous and high quality support is provided for the administration of the Board of Directors, Governors Council and associated meetings at the direction of the Company Secretary. Post holders also will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to nominated Executive Directors.
Main duties of the job
Post holder will provide administrative and technical support to the Company Secretary in ensuring the effective functioning of the Corporate Governance Department in meeting Foundation trust governance requirements. Post holders will act as a source of advice and guidance, and be a first point of contact for enquiries relating to corporate governance and for Executive Directors.
Post holders will be expected to appropriately manage confidential, complex and sensitive information concerning individuals, services and/or the Trust as a whole, exercising discretion and upholding high professional and ethical standards at all times.
The post holder will be a proactive team member contributing to the success of the Corporate Governance Department and will undertake roles and responsibilities in accordance with the grade and nature of the post. This will include full facilitation of Board and corporate level meetings, undertaking specific project work, identifying training needs related to projects, and delivering training to colleagues on project related matters.
This role requires a confident communicator with experience of negotiating and influencing staff at a senior level, combined with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. It requires a dynamic, motivated and forward thinking individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team work ethic.
