INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY
The Information Management team specialises in the management and analysis of the Trust's health data fulfilling both the statutory and contractual dataset and submission requirements and providing an analytical service to support the use of health intelligence for planning and decision making. The successful applicant will lead the team primarily responsible for producing national datasets and submissions, contract reports, supporting the Trust's corporate reporting cycle, and responses to FOIs and adhoc requests.
This is a key role in ensuring the Trust's performance and delivery of services is accurately represented by the data captured and reported by the Trust.
The successful candidate will have a proven background in NHS data/information roles, and previous management or team lead experience. A natural tendency to share knowledge and support and encourage personal development is essential. Communication and negotiation skills will be key to successful collaborative work within and outwith the team in both Digital and Clinical settings in the Trust and to be a champion of accurate electronic health care data capture.
This post is offered as full-time (37.5 hours per week) with hours to be worked between 8am and 6pm, with weekend working on a rota basis required through November to April annually.
Main duties of the job
Main duties will include:
Work with a high level of autonomy to lead the team, managing competing priorities and tight deadlines, and identifying and leading on areas of development and improvement.
Manage risks and issues impacting on the team, escalating where necessary to ensure the team continue to deliver against statutory and Trust requirements.
Drive the team to continuously improve - review processes, improve output quality and support personal development.
Collaborative working with colleagues in Digital and Clinical services to ensure Trust compliance with statutory requirements, and adherence to NHS data standards.
