Quality and Information Management Technician - Infection Sciences
This is a newly created and exciting role for an individual with good IT skills, attention to detail, good statistical analysis skills and are driven to improve quality and patient care.
The role is designed to assist the Infection Sciences Support Manager in all aspects of quality for the department and experience of working in a diagnostic laboratory is desirable
Main duties of the job
A member of the Infection Sciences department working as part of the Quality team, providing support to Microbiology, Virology and Immunology to maintain and achieve regulatory standards.
Directed by the Infection Sciences Support and Operational Managers the post holder will assist the department in the duties outlined. The role will involve training of other Pathology staff and the post holder will work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
This support involves internal and external quality assessment, record keeping, data and statistical analysis, audit, data input, production of reports and training and administration activities associated with the Quality Management System (QMS) for all disciplines.
