Job summary

INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY

An opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrator to join the IMSK Service, Carlisle. This role will involve liaising with other administrators and health care professionals, creating an integrated care pathway ensuring seamless transition to secondary care services enabling patient care is delivered to the highest possible standard. As an administrator / call handler working under the general direction of the administrative team lead to undertake a range of duties. Maintain administrative systems, procedures and records to enable the team to deliver an effective patient journey.

Main duties of the job

Carry out activities to support clinical triage of referrals to North Cumbria IMSK service, through care pathways across primary, secondary and acute settings. Daily telephone contact with patients. Schedule appointments for patients and dealing with general enquiries, administrative tasks (adding new patient referrals as well as onward referrals to Local and other NHS Trusts) and other admin duties to support the IMSK service as a whole.
