Housekeeper Band 2 - 20 hours Coronary Care Unit, West Cumberland Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on Coronary Care at West Cumberland Hospital. We are seeking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and motivated team player who will work within the team providing high quality service ensuring standards are maintained.

The department specialises in Cardiac and general medical patients with varying needs. It is a fast paced, acute care environment; assessing, prioritising and caring for a multitude of patient and families, with specific acute care needs and long term conditions.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the job includes:

Assist with meal rounds and serve patients meals/drinks

Assist with feeding patients and update relevant documentation

Order weekly stores and put away on delivery

Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment

Reporting equipment/ environmental issues

Replenish ward supplies including linen

Maintain patient privacy and dignity

Liaise with other professionals in team
