Qualifications

Essential

• Registered nurse with active registration.

Desirable

• Teaching qualification NST 307 or equivalent
• ENB 906 endoscopy nursing or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

• Relevant field of nursing.
• Clinical supervision.

Desirable

• Mentor to pre-registration nursing students.

Skills and Aptitudes

Essential

• Developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as a team member, without close supervision.
• Able to act as a clinical supervisor, mentor and preceptor.
• Able to demonstrate the compassionate values and behaviours needed for dignified care

Desirable

• IT skills.
• Project development skills.
• Able to undertake I.V. drug administration, cannulation and venepuncture.
