An exciting new post has been created for a Simulation Technician, working primarily in the simulation suite at the Cumberland Infirmary. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-directed, innovative candidate with excellent technical, multi-media and audio visual skills. This role will be to provide technical expertise and support for all simulation activities undertaken by the simulation team.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative simulation technician with excellent communication skills to help us develop and deliver our unfolding simulation based education programme. Full job description and person specification attached outlines the specific duties of this role.

Main duties of the job

The appointee will support the simulation team in delivering a broad range of high quality undergraduate and postgraduate clinical simulation sessions. This will also support the Trust's aim to enhance patient safety through inter-professional simulation training with a focus on team working, communication skills and learning from critical incidents. We deliver our simulated scenarios both within our simulation suite and "in-situ" in clinical areas.
