Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Maxillofacial Prosthetist with a strong background in orthodontics to lead and manage our specialist laboratory. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in facial prosthetics, obturator design and fabrication, and orthognathic model surgery, demonstrating both advanced technical expertise and the ability to oversee and coordinate all aspects of laboratory operations. This role requires an individual who can ensure the highest standards of precision, innovation, and patient care while providing effective leadership within a multidisciplinary environment.

Main duties of the job

Provide direct management and leadership to laboratory staff, ensuring their professional growth through targeted training, mentorship, and comprehensive annual appraisals.

Provide a maxillofacial prosthetic service ensuring safe and effective treatment of patients.Required to support the Consultant led clinical services e.g assisting clinical staff on the implant clinic, taking intra oral impressions, face bow records for specialist surgery and rehabilitation. During periods of high activity, take active role in orthodontic technical work.
