Qualifications

Essential

• BSc Dental Technology or historical equivalent
• Advanced qualification in Maxillofacial Prosthetics

Desirable

• Advanced Qualification in Orthodontics

Knowledge & Experience

Essential

• 2 Years post qualification experience within a NHS maxillofacial unit
• Knowledge of Medicines and Medical Devices Act 2021

Desirable

• Experience working in an orthodontic technical setting

Skills & Aptitudes

Essential

• Good communication skills
• Use of 3d systems for virtual surgery planning

Other Requirements

Essential

• Registered with the General Dental Council GDC

Desirable

• Registration with the Institute of Maxillofacial Prosthetists & Technologists IMPT
