Project Officer: 37.5hr - fixed term to 31/05/26

An exciting opportunity exists within our Digital Programmes team, liaising with our health partners, including acute hospitals, community services and GP practices. The Project Officer will be a key member of the team driving a transformational IT modernisation programme, supporting:
- maintenance of project documents and data
- user groups
- project coordination
If you have strong administration and organisation skills, other skills can be learnt in post. You may have transferable skills from other roles outside project management and will be supported in the role and with your development by our team of project management professionals. Training opportunities include project management principles, risk and issue management, process mapping, benefits management and communications.

Main duties of the job
This role involves assisting programme and project managers on one or more digital programmes / projects. This assistance may include:
- Support the development and maintenance of project documents and data collection systems
- Gather, interpret and present information
- Help introduce user-led design to projects
- Work with user groups
- Provide project coordination
- Administration of project / programme meetings
- Providing support to users
