The Patient Experience Team works closely with all the services within the trust to collect feedback from patients who use our services. The key role is to provide support to teams with the various methods of collecting feedback, offering support with the analysing of the feedback to enable the teams to act on the feedback and make improvement to ensure patients have a positive experience every time.
The post holder will engage on a daily basis with patients, families and staff by telephone, face-to-face, email, or during ward visits . Demonstrating a high level of empathy and understanding towards the feelings and opinions of patients, their relatives and carers.
The post holder will support with the recruitment and day to day management of volunteers who form part of the Patient Experience Team.
Main duties of the job
The team consists of Patient Advice & Liaison (PALS), patient experience coordinators, patient experience administrator and volunteers. The post holder will be aligned to 2 collaboratives and provide support with the collection of patient feedback via surveys, face to face, focus groups and patient stories. The post holder will support services with the development of surveys and patient experience tool used by the trust for collecting and reporting patient feedback.
The post holder will support the Patient Experience Manager with the recruitment of volunteers, the day to day line management of volunteers and the monitoring of their training compliance.
