Job summary
Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Emergency General Surgery.
An experienced healthcare practitioner with proven leadership skills who will support the medic teams in emergency general surgery whilst developing their own advanced clinical assessment skills, including assessment of patients, diagnostic skills and understanding of investigations. They will demonstrate safe, critical decision-making in the clinical decision-making process and will work collaboratively with Consultants and multi-disciplinary team to meet the needs of patients, supporting the delivery of policy and procedure. When trained, they will work to ensure wherever possible that junior medical staff are enabled to meet their training and development requirements. Local requirements for advanced clinical practice must be met or worked towards.
