Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic dietitian to join our well-established community dietetics team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust (NCIC). This 12-month fixed-term role offers the chance to develop clinical expertise in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
We are seeking a motivated professional with strong clinical knowledge and a passion for community-based care. You'll need a broad understanding of conditions commonly seen in the community and be confident managing patients across all age groups. Strong communication and team-working skills are essential.
You'll provide high-quality care to individuals referred by GPs, community hospitals, care homes, and other professionals. The role also includes managing a caseload of enterally-fed patients, supported by our dedicated Enteral Nurse Specialist.
We prioritise professional development, offering regular supervision, CPD opportunities, and the chance to mentor student dietitians from North West and North East universities--an initiative consistently rated four stars. Full IT and secretarial support is provided.
This role is ideal for experienced Band 6 dietitians or Band 5s ready for the next step--all while enjoying the excellent quality of life in North Cumbria and the nearby Lake District.
