Band 3 Senior Learning Administrator 22.5 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Senior Learning Administrator to join a small administration team within the award winning Practice Development Team. The Practice Development Team consists of Practice Development Leads for clinical skills, apprenticeships and preceptorship, Practice Education Facilitators, and Clinical Education Coordinators. This role will involve providing clerical support to the Practice Development Team.
The Practice Development Team support staff in developing essential skills required in practice and supporting high quality clinical placements for pre-registration students and apprentices.
As Senior Learning Administrator supporting the team your role will involve, responding to telephone and email queries with clinical staff and universities, ordering stationery, data inputting and spreadsheets and compiling data to support the Project Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be educated to GCSE Level and have an NVQ Level III in Business Administration/Customer Service or equivalent portfolio of experience. They will be able to produce high quality accurate work, prioritise work to meet deadlines, use own initiative, and have excellent communication and organisational skills. They will have a calm and professional manner and possess excellent customer service skills.
Working hours will between Monday to Friday, office hours.
Main duties of the job
Maintain effective processes for the management of information within the databases.
Manage enquries from staff (face to face, email, phone) around suitable training activities
Manage course bookings from staff and ensure records are updated accurately
Provide day to day management and support to team members and deal with complex issues as required
Support engagement with training by working proactively to issue reminders, following up DNA's and targeting staff who are required to attend
Provide a full secretariat service to meetings e.g. agendas, minutes, action plans
Provide support to staff to engage with accessing appropriate courses
Contribute to the ongoing development of the processes/procedures within the administrative function to ensure efficient and effective service provision
Ensure there is the provision of up to date information on training activities for staff e.g. intranet content
Carry out routine office procedures e.g. post, photocopying, scanning, saving documents
Provide an administrative service to staff within the team e.g. preparing course packs, photocopying materials, preparing registers
Collate and analyse evaluation data and provide information to relevant team members
Deal with procurement processes e.g. purchase orders, invoices
