Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Bank Contract

We are looking to recruit flexible and dynamic band 6 Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy bank.

These post will offer the opportunity to work in a number of NCIC teams across adult acute, community and paediatrics.

The successful applicant may be asked to cover some weekends and bank holidays, dependent on the team they are working within.

The post holder will manage a defined caseload of patients, using evidence based/client centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in hospital and community settings.

They will provide leadership and supervision to occupational therapists and support staff within the team.

Main duties of the job

You will have the opportunity to work as part of a team, consolidating your skills as an independent practitioner.

Due to the nature of this position, the post would be suitable for an Occupational Therapists with some post graduate experience, wishing to explore the numerous specialist areas of OT practice within NCIC.

You will enjoy the support of a strong Occupational Therapy network across both health and social care, which brings with it professional development opportunities.
