IT Support Technician - Primary Care up to 37.5 hours per week
Do you love supporting others in the use of IT? Are you interested in an IT career within the NHS? We're looking for an IT Support Technician with particular knowledge of automated deployment and IT Configuration management.
You will be working as part of the IT team comprising of remote and field based staff, ensuring the Primary Care IT Estate supports the delivery of effective patient care across North Cumbria. We'll need you to draw on your technical skills to deliver the best possible service to our customers.

Main duties of the job
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and maintain software asset configuration for the Primary Care estate. Working alongside colleagues to ensure optimum performance and develop supporting standard support procedures.
Working as a member of a small primary care support team the role will be predominantly desk based. Whilst the area of focus will be primary care there will be a requirement to assist other NHS users to meet service needs. There will occasionally be a requirement to provide on-site technical support to meet service need.
In relation to all aspects of the role there will be an expectation to contribute to the department's knowledge of primary care support. This will include creating, reviewing and updating documentation as well as the informal training of colleagues to share and develop their knowledge.
