Senior Information Governance Compliance Officer

Job summary

The Trust is looking for an Senior Information Governance Compliance Officer to work within Digital Healthcare.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join a small, but very productive and friendly team providing a vital service within the Trust.The vision of the Information Governance department is to "put Information at the HEART of everything we do".

This post provides an administrative supporting role in the development of information governance in the Trust, with a particular focus on ensuring compliance against the wide range of information governance standards through accurate data collation, validation, analysis, manipulation and presentation.

Main duties of the job

The Senior IG Compliance Officer operationally supports the Head of Information Governance / Data Protection Officer and IG Compliance Manager to maintain and deliver the information governance work programme.

The post holder will undertake duties associated with the role including support with more complex IG queries, asset management, clinical risk administration, privacy monitoring and investigations/audits.
