An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Practice Education Facilitator within the Practice Development Team to lead, develop and manage the implementation of our practice education priorities across North Cumbria.
The Practice Development Team comprises; Practice Development Leads for clinical skills, apprenticeships and preceptorship, Practice Education Facilitators, Clinical Educators, Clinical Education Coordinators and administrative staff. The Practice Development team support staff and learners in developing essential skills required in practice and support high quality clinical placements for pre-registration students and apprentices.
We have an opportunity for an experienced and motivated registered professional who is passionate about pre-registration education to join the Trust as Practice Education Facilitator.
We expect you to have a clear commitment to health care professional education and possess excellent leadership, communication, change management and organisational skills and have the ability to inspire and enthuse all grades of staff.
The post-holder will work office hours across multiple Trust sites working in collaboration with staff, learners and partner organisations. You will be supported to access relevant professional development opportunities.
Main duties of the job
Practice Education Facilitator (band 7), 37.5 hours per week, permanent
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments and will be required to work locally within services and organisations where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted. The post holder will be required to support the breadth of the student experience, which may require cross boundary working.
