Job summary

INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY

The Digital Access Management Team is a new team to ensure an integrated process is in place in ensuring access to digital systems. The purpose of the post is:

- to handle data to day tickets across concentrating on more complex queries within the clinical applications/ systems,

- RA smartcards actions attributable to complex queries but able to handle general queries also.,

- responsible for their own performance to support the overall team performance so that improvements can be made across the Board under the direction of the Digital Access Supervisor.

A key feature of this job is the ability to work flexibly to support the customer requirements and the transformational and cultural change journey which is ongoing in the Trust in the decision to bring these functions together. The flexibility will be required to cross cover and support colleagues in the department with a supportive development plan being put in place.

Main duties of the job

Manage and maintain user access, managing tickets and escalating any tickets of concern for new starters, movers/ changers and those leaving the organisation, with a particular focus on the more complex areas of access to the clinical systems ensuring that they are aligned to employed role.

Mailbox and calendar monitoring as directed on a rota. Completing of administrative tasks on rota.

Use developed communication skills to interact with service users/stakeholders on detailed systems information across a range of complex issues to assist in the development of department, systems and processes.

Handle a range of queries and information requests within clinical applications/systems, taking account of conflicting demands and adjusting workload as appropriate. Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures so that continual improvements occur over time.

Monitor own and team performance and look for continual improvements - highlighting discrepancies that these can be remedied.

Complete work aligned to work packages for projects as directed in a timely manner.

Input performance into Inphase performance management tool

Clinical Applications

System password resets, unlocking of accounts and account extensions.

Maintain access controls and system rights across a number of clinical applications systems and carry out appropriate testing and audits. This requires attention to detail and accuracy.
