Job summary

Full time, 37.50 hours per week. Flexible working considered.

The post holder will provide high quality administrative support to ensure the effective functioning of meetings of the Board of Directors, Board Committee meetings, and meetings of the Governors Council . The post holder will work with colleagues to support other corporate governance functions, such as management of the membership database, policy management, maintenance of the department's intranet pages and communication with governors. They will also work on, and take responsibility for coordination of improvement projects defined by the Senior Corporate Governance Officer or Senior Manager in the Department.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide high quality administrative support to ensure the effective functioning of meetings of the Board of Directors, Board Committees, and meetings of the Governors Council. The main role involves organizing meetings, pulling agendas together and taking minutes, however the role provides various interesting opportunities to start or further a career within the NHS.

Training and support is provided.

Flexible working/hybrid working are supported.

There will be occasions when travel to meeting locations within Cumbria is required but expenses will be paid.
