37.5 hours per week - bronze on call
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior manager to support the community hospital ward managers and their deputies in the day to day management of the units.
Main duties of the job
The role will provide leadership at team level and will support ward managers. They will have responsibility for:
- the delivery of quality services (safety, effectiveness and patient experience)
- the performance management of the services in line with relevant targets and standards
- ensuring clinical engagement, taking responsibility for clinical governance, safety and risk management within the service
- providing leadership, support and advice to ward managers and staff
- Contribute as appropriate to Care Group strategy development and implementation
- Supporting and deputising for the Community Hospitals Service Lead
