Home Dialysis Health Care Assistant Band 3 37.5 hours per week
Working throughout North Cumbria the Home Dialysis Team aim to provide high quality, individualised care to those requiring either peritoneal or home haemodialysis. These new posts have come about due to a remodelling of the service to fit the needs of an ever evolving Health Service. The successful candidates will work along side the Specialist Nurses and other members of the MDT to promote independence and a high quality of life for our patients.
The main duties of this post revolve around care of dialysis dependent patients in their own home.

Since 2016 the UK Renal Registry and Kidney Care UK have undertaken yearly patient satisfaction surveys asking renal patients a range of questions about their care. The Patient Reported Experiences (PREM) survey results haver shown that for the last four years North Cumbria Trust are within the top 3 out of 71 renal centres for overall patient experience. Within the 2019 results we were joint first.
The home dialysis community is growing rapidly. If you enjoy working in a busy and ever evolving environment please contact Diane Sanders on 07818090537 for an informal talk.
