Secondment Opportunity

eRoster and eCommunity Administrator - Band 4, 30.00 hours per week, secondment for 1 year

The Band 4 eRoster and eCommunity Administration Assistant will be responsible of leading, supporting and providing day to day supervision to a team of eRoster and eCommunity administation assistants.

Supporting the maintenance of accurate records relating to effective and efficient electronic rostering for community services.

To provide advice, guidance and support training to managers and staff pertaining activities relating to eRoster and eCommunity systems.

To maintain the current systems, support the implementation of new functionalities and support any People related projects Trust wide.

To report issues with systems to software suppliers, keeping users up to date.

The post holder will be required to organise their own workload, use own initiative and communicate effectively, escalating issues to the E-Rostering eCommunity Project Support Officers.

Main duties of the job

Undertake line management responsibilities including management supervisions, approval of annual leave requests and managing the sickness absence management process.

Provide advice, guidance and support training to managers and staff with activities relating to the eRoster and eCommunity systems.

Review and update training/support materials made available to managers and staff ensuring they meet the needs of the system users and are easily accessible.

Perform systems administrator tasks in the eRoster and eCommunity systems.

Support the eRoster and eCommunity Project Support Officers and eRoster and eCommunity Team Lead by attending meetings and user groups.

Help maintain the information and data that is held in the systems.

Liaise with internal/external departments and software suppliers to address any systems issues.

Support the development of standard operating procedures for the systems, including the publication and communication of the information to staff and managers as appropriate.

Assist in delivering a programme of education to support managers in the use of eRoster and eCommunity.

Support the eRoster and eCommunity Project Support Officers in the implementation of new functionality.

Review methods of training and identify ways to streamline effort and increase efficancy considering all technology available.

Produce accurate and timely Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Trust meetings, General Management, Ward staff, Finance and other relevant parties
