Job summary

Team Administrator Band 3 37.5 hours per week

The Team Administrator will work very closely with the Cyber Security Team and with other teams within Digital Health.

It is a busy and demanding environment however, the team works well together and are extremely supportive of each other. The team is managed by the Technical Design and Security Manager and you will report to the Cyber Security Performance Manager.

The purpose of this role is to work as a team administrator, providing secretarial and administrative support so the team can prioritise the technical aspects of their role. The post holder may be required to work across sites to offer administrative support as required.

Main duties of the job

Technical Support

  • Production and presentation of standard reports relating to security systems
  • Investigate incidents, alerts and warnings escalating where necessary
  • Undertake Cyber security checks
  • Help to maintain Cyber security systems
  • Create, amend and update IT Technical Procedures
  • Assist in the administration of IT equipment, ensuring that own activities and those of the technical administration team are recorded
  • Regularly maintain data quality and general record maintenance within IT systems
  • Provide and communicate complex information to users that may be seen as complex to non-IT users
  • Ensure that data relating to Information Assets are accurately recorded
  • Responsible for the proper and safe use of IT equipment/software by users
  • Responsible for the proper use/maintenance of expensive software including SIEM, EPO and others

General Admin

  • Update the Security document library
  • Monitor the review dates for IT documentation and ensure they are reviewed
  • Responsible for prioritising own workload ensuring tasks are completed to agreed standards.
  • Arrange meetings and booking resources as required.
  • Responsible for assisting in preparing documents and presentations, working to tight deadlines and interruptions
  • Responsible for ensuring that all documents produced are in line with the corporate standards of the Trust
  • Carry out basic audits as requested including gathering of information and preparing as required.
