Job summary

Band 7 trainee ACP/ Band 8a Qualified ACP 37.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint dynamic and forward-thinking Qualified/ Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) with a special interest in Medical Same Day Emergency Care to support the current ACP, nursing and medical team.

The successful candidate will work as part of an established multi-disciplinary team. This is an opportunity to join an organisation in which Clinicians are at the forefront of management.

Main duties of the job

Medical SDEC provides same day emergency care. This means that patients are assessed, diagnosed, treated and able to go home the same day without having to stay in hospital overnight.

Medical SDEC is a developing service having recently extended opening hours to cover weekends.

As an ACP/ Trainee ACP your main duty would be to work with the medical team to provide a high standard of care while following local guidelines and policies.

  • Substantial broad experience relevant to area of practice
  • Completed Master's degree qualification (or above)
  • ILS provider
  • Advanced clinical practice skills and clinical treatment skills
