Course Lead for Postgraduate Certificate in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Care

Are you an experienced academic in Perinatal Parent Infant Mental Health Social with a passion for teaching and academic leadership?

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated individual to develop and lead a Postgraduate Certificate in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Care.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will develop and deliver a new postgraduate module in Infant Mental Health and be responsible for the existing Perinatal Mental Health postgraduate module which will be offered together as a new Post Graduate Certificate in Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Care within the Trust's Nursing & Workforce Development Portfolio. This will involve designing and taking through university processes to ensure the validation of a postgraduate certificate for delivery in the 2026-27 Academic Year.

The post holder will lead the team delivering the course and be responsible for managing the course team, course budget and recruitment. They will ensure good relationships with applicants, students and staff and all aspects of learning, teaching and academic governance are attended to including ensuring equality, diversity and inclusion is effectively addressed in student and staff recruitment, learning and teaching materials and assessment.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified and registered asa practitioner in Psychotherapy/ Social Work/ Psychology/ Nursing/Occupational Therapy in UK

Expertise and experience in teaching and learning at Masters level

Strong knowledge, experience and skills in perinatal parent infant mental health multidisciplinary practice

Commitment to and track record in anti-racist, intersectional and compassionate practice and teaching
